When you buy a new home with Spring Developments it will be covered by a 10 year warranty with BUILD-ZONE. In addition your home has been built to meet current Building Regulations and Standards. The warranty acts as an insurance policy for you in relation to any structural matters for the duration of 10 years.

For a period of 2 years following legal (build) completion, we will rectify items that arise in line with the warranty. From the end of the 2 year period until the 10th anniversary of registration, your home remains covered by the warrantee provider against structural defects. Your warranty policy details will be forwarded to you by your solicitor which gives further details and clarification on what the policy does, and does not cover. Important information 

Please note that some manufacturers offer warranties over and above the initial two year warranty these will be detailed in your Home Owners Manual . Appliances can carry varying warranty periods and it’s important that you register yours as soon as possible to ensure you are covered.  You will be provided with copies of the appliance manuals with information on how to register them when you first move into your new home and should always contact appliance warranty providers directly incase of any issues. 

It should be noted that any alteration or extension you make to your new home following legal completion may adversely affect all, or part of, your two year warranty. We do not protect you against every problem that may occur and you have a responsibility to carry out regular maintenance on your new home. 

Renting your Property:

Should you wish to rent your property, please note that we will only take instructions regarding defects from the original owner of the property and not agencies or tenants. Damage caused by tenants through negligence, damage or poor maintenance are not covered.
